calling all animal lovers...and lovers of post cards!

Grits and Moxie

My friend Jennifer over at Grits and Moxie is putting on an awesome postcard swap this month. Check this out (taken from her blog)

"For Every PCSW Participant That Signs Up This Month She Will Donate $1 To The Athens Area Humane Society!

UPDATE:  A wonderful supporter/friend has pledged to match the donations for another great cause!  Her proceeds will go to thePeaceful Prairie Sanctuary in Colorado.  Yay for Melissa!

That's right!  Whether you're a regular PCSW member or a newbie, Jennifer is going to donate $1 of her own money if you join up.*  And now super awesome fantabulous Melissa (last name withheld for privacy) has pledged to donate $1 of her own money for every participant too!* That means for every person that signs up = $2 to a great animal charity.  Last month had over 100 participants so I'd love to see even more folks this go 'round.  Let's raise some money for some good causes!"

The theme?  How about animals?  What's your favorite?  Do you have a totem one?  A favorite rescue story to tell your penpal?  A jackalope sighting to share via a funny card?  Keep it as simple or creative as you like..it's all up to you.

You can sign up from now, July 3rd, til Monday, July 15th at 11:59pm.  Matches will be emailed by Wednesday, July 17th by 11:59pm.  All cards should be in the mail by Monday, July 22nd, if possible.  Please visit the PCSW page to find out more!
