fff vol 23

Favorite finds from the past week

1. Etsy find of the week:

I need to remind myself of this more. It will make when I master my projects that much more enjoyable.

2. Blog of the week: Paper Crowns

I came across this blog about a month ago. Her story of how she met her husband is truly amazing and her posts and photography are simply gorgeous. It's a new daily read and should be yours too.

3. Please can I move in?

One of the most perfect houses I have ever seen..and look at those gardens!

4. Get in my belly

Potatoes! Need I say more?! Oh how I love potatoes!

5. Tee shirt of the week from Counter Couture

I've always had an obsession with old school bikes. I've been wanting an old Schwin Pea Picker forever!! This shop has so many fun and quirky designs.

Weekend plans? I'm hoping to maybe cross something off my Summer Manifesto this weekend.. (beside the farmers market - because well..that's just a given!)

That house! Those potatoes! That shirt! I love them all. (Especially the house!! I dream of a cute little house like that with a beautiful garden that maintains itself. No weeding for this girl!)

sorry to break it to you but that garden is VERY high maintenance! but we can dream can't we?!
That house is in Princes Street Gardens in Edinburgh - I've *always* wanted it. It's about as far from private and secluded as you can get, but it's absolutely beautiful.

that's crazy that you know that house! i didn't know where it was - the site i had found it on was just listing many houses for their garden designs. it is an amazing house, but i could see that the location seemed weird- i wasn't sure if it was a "real" house or not.

when kevin and i lived in northampton, ma - there was a park we used to take our girls to (then it was lily and lola - lily was a THE best miniature pinscher ..oh i miss that little bugger..it was her FAVORITE place in the world) anyway.. there was a cottage in the middle of the park and every day on our walk, we would comment on how perfect that cottage was. just this awesome little stone house in the middle of gardens and a huge park...
Trisha! You are so, so, so sweet for featuring me. Thank you SO much! That little house is so beautiful. Absolutely perfect! I'd live there in a heartbeat.

You're welcome, your blog is beautiful.

Sarah said that house was in Scotland, an even bigger bonus for me. That would be a dream right there..then having the perfect house to go along with it..I don't know if I could stand the happiness!
All amazing things. ALL.

But especially the bike t-shirt. But especially ESPECIALLY he baked potatoes. Oh, okay, I'm just really indecisive. ;)

You are definitely in the right place if you are another indecisive gal!
Well, I guess I am the only commenter that sees bike spoke nipples when I look at that shirt...so far! HA! Am checking out that blog...right...NOW!

now my eyes are drawn to look at this poor girl's boobs!
All great choices! And yay, Natasha! We met through blogging and had lunch in DC a few weeks ago. She is just as lovely in person. :) Blogging is so great, I love being able to make new friends this way!

Oh that's awesome. I used to live in the DC area a while back and now my brother does because he's finishing up at Corcoran. I love it down there.
DC rules, if you ever make it back, let me know! :)
I definitely will. I haven't been back down there in a few years. I actually almost moved back to the area about 4 or 5 years ago. I went down, stayed with some friends and was offered a really awesome job managing The Dairy Godmother in Del Ray. Sadly, it just wasn't going to work out financially so I had to turn the position down. But they have the BEST frozen custard - you should go check them out if you haven't heard of them before!
